Weekly Meal Plan: January Edition
I love putting these meal plans together as I’m basically just planning what I am going to eat for the week and sharing it with you in the hope it makes your life easier too. That’s the thing about Dinner Tonight, these are all tried and tested recipes I genuinely cook at home for me and my family. Whether you're home alone, or cooking for family, the recipes are all endlessly adaptable and sometimes the idea is all you need. If you think a really good bolognese takes hours to cook, think again! This recipe is such a great weeknight staple and there are so many delicious ways to serve it. Obviously gorgeous with pasta and plenty of parmesan but possibly I prefer it with rice and a fried egg on top. But more on that down below. Happy January everyone and hope you enjoy this month’s meal plan. Any questions, pop them in the comments below or hop onto the chat and put it to the Dinner Tonight community too. Margie x
Sausages with Lentils and Romesco Sauce
Sausages and lentils is such a classic, comforting combination. I remember eating it for the first time in Italy as a child and then my mum cooking it at home and now I cook it for my own children. I love how dishes can become part of your family.

The Snazziest Roasted Tomato Soup
Another working title for this newsletter was Easy Cooking for Exhausted People. I cook all sorts of things in my professional life as a chef, some fairly complicated and complex, but at home I am a simple cook.
